Additional information

The photostability of 2-(phenylmethoxy)naphthalene was examined by QSAR calculation using AOPWIN (v.1.92) showing a potential for rapid degradation in the atmosphere. However, due to the low volatility of 2-(phenylmethoxy)naphthalene no relevant degradation via the atmosphere is to be expected.

Testing on hydrolysis was not performed as 2-(phenylmethoxy)naphthalene is insoluble in water. Thus, no relevant abiotic degradation for the substance is assumed.
