Additional information

Experimental data on the acute toxicity of CAS 87-62-7 to aquatic invertebrates (Daphnia magna) are available.

The short-term toxicity study with Daphnia magna was performed according to OECD Guideline 202 and under GLP. In this static study the 48 -h EC50 value of the substance was determined to be 20 mg/L (measured, geometric mean, NITE Japan, 2002).

Therefore, based on the available experimental data the test substance is considered to be acutely harmful to aquatic invertebrates.
