Description of key information
The value of partition coefficient for Ethyldiisopropylamine used as a key value was obtained in a buffer at pH7.

A study was carried out to determine the partition coefficient (n-octanol/water) of the test item Ethyldiisopropylamine, according to OECD 107 and GLP requirements (Clipston, 2012). The partition coefficient of the test item was assessed in Milli-RO water, pH 4.0 Buffer, pH 7.0 Buffer and pH 9.0 Buffer. The mean log Pow for each n-octanol/aqueous media system was determined as follows:
Milli-RO Water: log Pow = 1.18 ± 0.09
pH 4.0 Buffer: log Pow = < -2.19 ± 0.23
pH 7.0 Buffer: log Pow = < -1.80 ± 0.14
pH 9.0 Buffer: log Pow = < -0.22 ± 0.05
