Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

According to sections 3 of Annex XI of REACH (substance-tailored exposure-driven testing) a data waiving can be considered appropriate if the results of the risk assessment covering all relevant exposures throughout the life cycle of the submission item demonstrate the absence of a risk to the environment. Accordingly, the environmental concentrations were predicted and compared to the respective PNECs derived on the hazard data as provided in the dossier. The resulting RCRs for all identified uses were well below 1. Consequently, the risk for sediment organisms is reflected in the CSA for all identified uses and all uses are safe. Thus, a need to investigate further the effects on sediment organisms by means of in vivo testing is not indicated.
