First-aid measures

General advice:

Remove soiled or soaked clothing immediately.

If inhaled, remove to fresh air.

Seek medical treatment.

In case of skin contact wash thoroughly with water and soap

In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: water spray jet, foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide

In case of fires, hazardous combustion gases are formed: Carbon monoxide (CO), Hydrogen chloride (HCl)

Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: In case of fire wear respiratory protection.

Fire residues and contaminated firefighting water must be disposed of in accordance with the local regulations.

Accidental release measures

Keep away from sources of ignition.

Prevent spread over a wide area with non-flammable materials.

Do not allow product to reach sewage system or waters.

Absorb with liquid binding material and store in a closed container.

Clean contaminated floors and objects thoroughly with water and detergents, observing environmental regulations.

Treat recovered material as prescribed in "Disposal considerations".

Handling and storage

Handling: During its whole lifecycle the substance is handled in closed system under strictly controlled conditions in accordance to Art. 18(4, a-f) of the REACH legislation. This fact is confirmed by the producer and the user of the product.

Storage: Keep only in the original container. Keep container tightly closed in a cool, well-ventilated place.  Do not store or transport together with foodstuffs.

Specific uses: Industrial use resulting in manufacture of another substance (use for intermidiates).

Storage class: 10 (flammable liquids, flash point > 55 °C)

During the whole lifecycle all necessary measures in accordance to Art. 18(4) of REACH legislation are undertaken to minimize emissions and any resulting exposure.

When handled and stored appropriately no dangerous reactions are known.  

Disposal considerations

Product: Special waste incineration plant, after consultation with operators.

Contaminated packaging: Packaging that cannot be cleaned should be disposed of as product waste.
