4-methylhexahydrophthalic anhydride (4-MHHPA) is rapidly hydrolysed to the corresponding dicarboxylic acid (4-MHHPAc)

The experimental data on the acid degradation product indicates a low BCF of up to 2.4, therefore both anhydride and acid forms not exhibit significant bioconcentration or bioaccumulation tendencies.
