No experimental data was available for chronic toxicity for fish. However a (Q)SAR calculation shows that the species that is by far the most sensitive is daphnia. The experimental NOEC for daphnia is 3.2 mg/L. The limit for a classification of chronic toxicity is that the concentration for NOEC is lower than 1 mg/L. As the calculated NOEC for fish is much higher than for daphnia there is not a compelling reason to perform any additional test with fish.

The overall conclusion is that there is no chronic toxicity effect of the substance towards aquatic organisms.
