Additional information

In a GLP guideline study following the EU Method C.2 (Acute Toxicity for Daphnia) waterflea (Daphnia magna) were exposed for 48 hours in a static test to 'Hexamethylene diisocyanate, oligomerisation product (biuret type)'. The study was conducted as a limit test with nominal test concentration of 100 mg/L in the water accomodated fraction (WAF). The EL50 (48h) was >= 100 mg/L nominal test substance concentration (Bayer AG, 2000).
