Administrative data
First-aid measures
- General advice: Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Ensure that the First Aid Personnel are aware of the product involved, and take precautions to protect themselves (e.g. wear personal protection equipment).
- Following inhalation: Symptomatic treatment. Seek immediate medical attention if irritation occurs.
- Following skin contact: Rinse affected area thoroughly for at least 15 minutes. If irritation occurs seek medical attention. Launder clothing before re-use.
- Following eye contact: Rinse eyes thoroughly for at least 15 minutes with water. If irritation occurs seek medical attention.
- Following ingestion: Symptomatic treatment. Do not induce vomiting. Seek immediate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures
- Suitable extinguishing media: Water spray, carbon dioxide or dry foam may be used.
- Unsuitable extinguishing media: No restrictions
- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon.
- Advice for fire fighter: Use Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and a self-contained breathing apparatus must be worn.
Accidental release measures
- Personal precautions: Evacuate personnel from immediate vicinity. Wear suitable protective equipment. Ventilate the area
- Protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear suitable protective equipment such as a dust mask to a minimum standard of EN149FFP2S, chemical protective gloves to a standard prEN374, eye protection capable of giving chemical protection as classified in prEN166 and skin
protection as classified by standard EN368.
- Environmental precautions: Collect contaminated fire extinguishing water separately. This must not be discharged into drains. The product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or the soil.
- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Absorb spillages with a suitable inert material (eg sand or soil). Carefully transfer the spillage to waste containers, or use a sealed industrial vacuum machine. Containers filled with waste material must be labelled in the same way as the original containers. Clean the spillage area with water and detergent. Avoid directing the washings to the drain. Dispose of waste material by incineration in accordance with local regulations.
Handling and storage
Handling:
- The substance should be stored, handled and used in conditions of good industrial hygiene and in conformity with any local regulations in order to avoid exposure by skin and eye contact and by inhalation.
- Engineering controls are necessary to reduce exposure to the substance.
- When exposure cannot be prevented or adequately controlled appropriate personal protective equipment should be worn.
Such protective equipment should conform to the appropriate international or national standards as follows: Chemical protective gloves to Standard prEN374; Chemical resistant clothing to Standard EN368; Eye protection to Standard prEN166; When necessary appropriate respiratory protection should be used. e.g. a dust mask conforming to EN149 FFP2S.
- The standards mentioned above should be regarded as a minimum.
Storage:
- Store in a dry well-ventilated area.
- Keep containers tightly closed when not in use.

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Contaminated containers or spillages of solutions mixed with inert material (eg sand or soil) may be disposed of by landfill at an authorised tip in accordance with local regulations.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The substance can be disposed of by incineration by burning under controlled conditions at a licensed waste treatment processor in accordance with local regulations. Stack gases should be scrubbed, because noxious fumes (eg carbon oxides) could be formed.
