Description of key information

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In a chronic study on Daphnia magna a NOEC of 4.2 mg/L was determined. Since the sensitivity towards the chemical was similar for fish and daphnids in acute tests and observed effects might mainly be contributed to a shift in pH, it is not to be expected, that any additional information on the chronic aquatic toxicity of the test substance will arise from chronic toxicity testing in fish. Therefore, and for reasons of animal welfare, no long-term toxicity studies on fish are provided.
