On the basis of an acute oral LD50 in the range 200 -2000 in the rat, determined in a test following the Acute Toxic Class method, trichloro(3-chloropropyl)silane is classified R22 according to the criteria of EU Directive 67/548/EEC and Acute Toxic 4 (oral) under Regulation 1272/2008.
