Conclusions:
The relative density at ambient temperature (compared to water at 4°C) is D4R=1.40. The ambient temperature was determined to be 22.9°C +/- 0.2°C.

Description of key information

The relative density of cobalt, borate 2-ethylhexanoate complexes (guideline study results): 1.4 at 22.9 °C +/- 0.2 °C.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Relative density at 20C:
1.4

Additional information

The density of cobalt, borate 2-ethylhexanoate complexes was measured at ambient temperature with the gas comparison pycnometer according to OECD guideline 109. Two test series with different weights (20.6075g and 21.6529g) were performed.
