Description of key information

In accordance with Annex I, part 2, section 2.16 of the CLP regulation 1272/2008, it is not necessary to conduct the tests for metal corrosion for the purposes of classification, as there are no chemical groups in the molecule which would cause any corrosive interaction with metallic surfaces.

Additional information

Iron oxides are not expected to be corrosive to metals, and hence not considered for classification.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Iron oxides are not expected to be corrosive to metals, and hence not considered for classification.
