Additional information

In the acute ecotoxicity tests on fish, daphnids and algae, the following LC50/EC50 values were found:

48 -hr EC50 daphnia: 2.3 mg/L

72 -hr ErC50 algae: 28 mg/L

96 -hr LC50 fish: 8.8 mg/L.

and the following values were found for chronic data:

72 -hr EC10 algae: 5.1 mg/L

21d EC10 daphnia: 0.89 mg/L

The substance has a log Pow of 3 .3 -3.6, long-term effects are not to be expected.

Although the substance is not readily biodegradable, it may be ultimately biodegradable.

Furthermore, the substance is not considered PBT or vPvB, as the substance is not bioaccumulative (not B or vB) in view of the log Pow < 4.5.

Conclusion on classification

Based on the results of the ecotoxicity tests, the substance should be classified as follows:

- according to CLP Regulation (EC) 1272/2008: Aquatic Chronic 2; H411
