Description of key information

Additional information

Hydrolysis:

The substance is hydrolytically stable at pH 4, 7 and 9. The half-life time at 25°C is > 1 year for pH 4, 7 and 9 (OECD 111, preliminary test).

Ready biodegradability:

The substance was not readily biodegradable (15% after 28 days) under the conditions of the test performed (OECD 301D, closed bottle test). However, there are indications that the substance is ultimately biodegradable (60% after 98 days).

Adsorption/desorption coefficient:

Three test substance related peaks were observed in the HPLC screening test according to OECD 121. The resulting Koc and log Koc values of the substance at neutral pH are in the range 1800 -2700 and 3.26 -3.44, respectively. This indicates that when the substance would end up in the soil compartment it will be highly immobile there.
