Description of key information

Due to the low water solubility of Decanoic acid, mixed esters with dipentaerythritol, octanoic acid and valeric acid (EC # 270-470-1) (Hatcol 1106) in combination with the absence of sensitive analytical methods to support the analysis of samples from the hydrolysis test, the test hydrolysis as a function of pH does not need to be conducted, hence it was waived. Additionally, based on structural features hydrolysis is expected to be difficult for this substance due to steric hindrance.
