Based on the information and review of the oligomers evaluated, the substance is deemed not to be a potential oxidant, based on the chemical structure and oxygen balance values. It is known that where oxygen is present but the atoms are only bonded to carbon and/or hydrogen, then oxidizing properties are unlikely. Ester groups are not known for their oxidising potential, hence the UVCB mixture is not considered to be a potential oxidant based on structural grounds.

As the substance is a UVCB substance, it is considered appropriate to assess the theoretical smallest and largest ester products in order to determine oxygen balance values. It is known that where oxygen is present but the atoms are only bonded to carbon and/or hydrogen, then oxidizing properties are unlikely. Ester groups are not known for their oxidising potential, hence the UVCB mixture is not considered to be a potential oxidant based on structural grounds.

Based on evaluation of structural features and oxygen balance values > -200 it was concluded that the substance has no oxidising properties.

Additionally, based on structural features, none of the members of the category is considered to have oxidising properties, mainly due to an overall oxygen deficiency.

Based on the above mentioned result, classification according to the CLP Regulation (EC) 1272/2008 is not necessary.
