Additional information

Two studies are available on the short term toxicity to fish. In both studies no signs of toxicity were observed up to the highest tested concentrations 0.17 mg/L (nominal, Putt, A.E. 2004a) and 100mg/L (nominal, Rufli, H. 1988a), respectively. As the substance is poorly soluble in water (water solubility = 0.000173 g/L) it can be assumed that the substance is not toxic up to its solubility limit. Therefore, the LC 50 of > 100 mg/L was used for the derivation of the PNEC corresponding to the maximal nominal concentration tested.
