Description of key information

The Henry'law constant of Cyclacet was estimated to be 2.44 Pa.m3/mol at 25°C (1.17 Pa.m3/mol at 12oC).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
2.44
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The Henry's law constant is calculated using the equation from EUSES. Using a molecular weight of 192.25 g/mol, and the experimentally determined vapour pressure of 2.12 Pa (at 23°C) and water solubility of 186 mg/L (at 23°C) the Henry's law constant at environmental temperature (12°C) is calculated to be 1.17 Pa.m3/mol (2.44 Pa.m3/mol at 25°C). Volatilisation is expected to be of minor importance in the environmental behaviour of Cyclacet.
