Description of key information

The BCF value of the substance is 2.44. The PBT Profiler estimates that the substance is not expected to bioaccumulate in the food chain because it does not exceed the BCF criteria in water and sediment.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

BCF (aquatic species):
2.44 dimensionless

Additional information

Moreover, In accordance with Column 2 adaptation statement of REACH Annex IX, information requirement section 9.3.2, a bioaccumulation study need not be conducted if the substance has low potential for bioaccumulation (e.g., log Kow < 3). In the present suituation the Log Kow value is 2.44 and so this end point is not of much importance in this case.
