Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Executive summary:

Determination of granulometry: Accurately weighed a l05 µm sieve and an empty pan. Accurately weighed approximately 5 g of test substance into the sieve. Place sieve and pan on a sieve shaker and shook for 5 minutes. Re-weighed the sieve and the pan. Calculated the percentage of particles that were less than l05 µm. The particles less than l05 µm were analysed for particle size distribution using a Beckman Coulter LS 230 Particle Size Analyzer.

Granulometry: 0.78% < l05 µm
