Remarks on result:
not determinable

Any other information on results incl. tables

After trying to ignite the sample with a flame, the test substance became liquid and did not show any other reaction.

After ignition with a hot platinum wire the sample burned locally and decomposed under formation of flammable gases.

Therefore the test substance was rated with the combustibility index 3 ("Local burning or glowing without spread", "Brennzahl" 3 definition according to HVBG, 2001).

As the flame did not propagate no burning rate could be determined.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Conclusions:
The test substance was rated with the combustibility index 3 (local burning without spread). The test item does not burn independently at room temperature and is therefore not a flammable solid according to UN class 4.1.
Executive summary:

The combustibility index of the test substance was determined. The test substance was rated with the combustibility index 3 (local burning without spread). The test item is not a flammable solid.
