key study
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
EU Method A.6 (Water Solubility)
Deviations:
no
Remarks:
The study was conducted according to the test guidelines in effect at the time of study conduct
GLP compliance:
yes
Type of method:
flask method
Water solubility:
25.1 mg/L
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
4.37 - 5.62
Conclusions:
Solubility was 0.0251 g/L at 20º
Executive summary:

The water solubility of the test substance was determined using the flask shaking method as described in EEC Directive 67/548, Annex V, A6. Three tests were performed, and the solutions were analyzed by HPLC. The report includes information on calibration data, analytical data, and a typical chromatogram. The test substance was not detected in any of the blank solutions. Results were not corrected for test substance purity. The water solubility was 0.0251 g/L at 20ºC. The standard deviation of the 3 duplicate determinations was 0.000312 g/L with a coefficient of variation of 1.24%.
