Additional information

No experimental data on effects to terrestrial organisms are available. The guanidine carbonate clearly belongs to the lowest the soil hazard category (1) according to Chapter R.7c, Table R.7.11-2, p 131 of ECHA (2008). Therefore the Equilibrium Partitioning Method (EPM) according to the TGD (ECB 2003, part II, p 117 and ECHA 2008) is applicable and the screening assessment as foreseen by the ECHA (2008) guidance can be used for waiving standard information requirements. Testing for effects of the submission item to soil organisms is deemed not necessary.
