Description of key information

pKa= 3.1 at 25°C  (calculated)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The calculation was based on Taft and Hammett Correlations.

Additionally, the dissociation constant was also calculated using recommended software SPARC and ACD/Labs The results are given as

pKa=3.8 and pKa=3.2 respectively.

The predicted values fall outside the environmentally relevant pH range (5-9)
