Details on results:
The saturation concentrations were plotted versus temperature. Please see the plot under "Attached background material" below.
The plot indicates a positive linear relation of solubility and temperature. The temperature dependency was calculated from the slope of linear approximation between 8.9 °C and 31.2 °C to be 2.16 %/°C on the base of the solubility at 19.9 °C.
Conclusions:
The water solubility is noticable dependent on temperature and increases with increasing temperature. Under the conditions of this test the mean water solubility of the test item lead chloride in bidistilled water free from oxygen and carbon dioxide at 20 +/- 0.5 °C is determined to be 10.0 g/L.
The mean pH of the satureated solutions at 20 +/- 0.5 °C was ca. pH 4.2.

Additional information

The water solubility is noticable dependent on temperature and increases with increasing temperature. Under the conditions of this test the mean water solubilities of the test item lead chloride in bidistilled water free from oxygen and carbon dioxide was 7.6 g/L at 8.9°C, 10 g/L at 19.9 °C and 12.56 g/L at 31.9°C. The temperature dependency was calculated as 2.16 %/°C on the base of the solubility at 19.9 °C.
