Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex IX, the bioaccumulation test on fish does not need to be conducted as the substance has a low potential for bioaccumulation. Guanidine phosphate is a very hydrophilic substance which is completely ionized in the environmental relevant pH. In general, ionized substances do not readily diffuse across surfaces. This is supported by the Meylan et al (1999) QSAR estimation and an incompletely reported BCF study in fish of Guanidine hydrochloride.
