Additional information

The effects on adult survival and reproduction after exposure to BPS-MAE for 14 and 21 days were as follows:

Adult mortality

14-d EC50: 1.74 [95% c.l., 1.03, 8.90] mg/L

21-d EC50: 0.785 [95% c.l., 0.298, 5.44] mg/L

LOEC: 0.157 mg/L

NOEC: 0.0664 mg/L

Reproduction, mg/l

14-d EC50: 1.14 [95% c.l., 1.03, 8.90] mg/L

21-d EC50: 0.951 [95% c.l., 0.298, 5.44] mg/L

LOEC: 0.157 mg/L

NOEC: 0.0664 mg/L

The size (body length) of the adults at the end of the test was significantly reduced at 0.396 to 2.53 mg/l when compared to the solvent control group and the time to the production of the first brood was significantly different at 2.53 mg/l from the solvent control.
