First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air and seek medical advice if necessary.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical
advice if necessary.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth. Give plenty of bland fluids and seek medical
advice.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foam, or dry powder are suitable.

Product arising from burning: Combustion products may contain carbon, nitrogen and sulphur
oxides together with some hydrogen cyanide and soot.

Protective equipment: Wear a suitable breathing apparatus.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear safety equipment as indicated at 2.3.1. Sweep up spilt
material and transfer to a closed container for disposal
using an approved incinerator. Do not allow material to
enter drains or sewers. Do not contaminate ponds, ditches or
waterways.

Handling and storage

Handling: Minimise exposure using enginnering control procedures. (eg
dust extraction). If necessary wear protective clothing
(overalls), gloves and a powder mask (eg BS 2091).

Storage: Store in the original container, tightly closed and in a
cool dry place.

Contact with combustible material may cause fire.
