Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The short-term toxicity of 2-(4-tert-butylphenyl)-6-cyano-5-[bis(ethoxycarbonylmethyl)carbamoyloxy]-1 H-pyrrolo[1 ,2-b][1 ,2,4]triazole-7-carboxylic acid-2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methyl-cyclohexyl ester

(UC-141) to aquatic invertebrates was investigated in a study by Bouwman (2004), conducted according to ISO Guideline 6341 under GLP conditions. A static limit test was performed in which 20 daphnids were exposed to a filtrate of a solution prepared at 100 mg/L (nominal). Immobility was recorded after 24 and 48 hours, and the test concentration was verified by analytical determination. After 48 hours no immobilisation or other adverse effects were reported, and therefore an EC50 could not be determined and it is considered to be > 0.019 mg/L (mean measured concentration).

In conclusion, UC-141 was not acutely toxic to aquatic invertebrates under the tested conditions.
