Description of key information

3-Furanmethanamine, tetrahydro- is not readily biodegradable

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The key study on 3 -Furanmethanamine, tetrahydro- by CO2 evolution (OECD 301B, BASF 2014) reveals a degree of biodegradation < 10 % CO2/ThCO2 after an exposrue period of 28 days. Thus the substance is not readily biodegradable.
