Description of key information

Data waiver.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Explosiveness:
non explosive

Additional information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH annex VII the explosivity test does not have to be conducted as the substance does not contain any functional groups quoted in 'Manual of Tests and Criteria' (United Nations 2008, fourth revised edition, appendix 6, chapter 3) which may be associated with explosivity. Thus, the result for the explosive properties was predicted to be negative based on the chemical structure and the oxygen balance of the notified chemical.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance is not expected to be oxidising baseed on its structure. Therefore, classification is not warranted in accordance with EU Directive 67/548/EEC and Regulation 1207/2008/EC.
