No experimental data evaluating the potential for photodegradation of Glycerides, C12-18 di- and tri- (CAS No. 91744-28-4) in air are available. Since the substance is a complex UVCB, QSAR calculations using the AOPWIN v1.92 program have been performed on representative components (C12 and C18 di- and tri-), resulting in estimated half-lives (DT50 values) ranging from 5.3 to 9.6 hours (reaction with OH-radicals, 24h-day)(López Parrón, 2011). These values indicate that the substance is susceptible to undergo rapid indirect photodegradation in air. Nevertheless, this is not expected to be a relevant environmental fate process, since Glycerides, C12-18 di- and tri- is not likely to be present in the atmosphere in relevant amounts based on its estimated vapour pressure (< 0.0001 Pa at 20 °C).
