The bacterial mutagenicity tests (e.g. Ames test) are not relevant for metals according to the HERAG fact sheet 5 (copy attached 7.6.1) Other genotoxicity testing can be waived based upon Carc. Cat1 classification (REACH Annex VIII point 8.4.2 column 2).
