Description of key information

DAP appears to be sensitive for photolysis, but hydrolitically stable at environmental pH values. Although not readily biodegradable, DAP will degrade ultimately in a STP and also under normal environmental conditions. As a result DAP is not considered to be persistent and is also not expected to accumulate in aquatic or terrestrial organisms. Based on the relatively low logKoc (2.63) diallyl phthalate has a tendency to move through the soil easily and can be subject to leaching.
