Additional information

The long-term toxicity of Phthalocyanines to Daphnia magna was investigated by a test on CAS 147-14-8 following OECD guideline 211. The semi-static test system was run for 21 days. Mortality and reproduction rate of Daphnia were recorded. A NOEC >1 mg/l was determined (Hoechst Marion Roussel 1999). In a second test following OECD guideline 211 the long-term toxicity of CAS 1328-53-6 was determined. D. magna was exposed to the substance for 21 days. Regarding the reproduction of the animals a NOEC >= 1 mg/l was determined (BASF AG 2000). Both tests were run without analytical monitoring.
