Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The melting behaviour of the test material was determined in accordance with standard guidelines OECD 103 and EU Method A.1, by Hamstra-Spikkers and Feentra-Bielder, using the capillary method. The melting point range of the test material was determined to be 301.0 K - 302.5 K (i.e. 28 - 29.5 ºC). This study was assigned the key study, and given a reliability score of 1, as it was performed to standard guidelines and to GLP.

Supporting information was available in the form of predictive models, substance entries on chemical databases and from company safety data sheets, However, no information on test materials or methods were provided and so were assigned a reliability score of 4.

The available data was considered complete. The melting range of the test material was considered to be 28 - 29.5 ºC and this value was taken forward to risk assessment.
