Additional information

In the key study, entitled "3,3’,4,4’-Benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride: Respiration Inhibition Test with Activated Sludge: according to OECD Guideline No. 209 for Testing of Chemicals (2010)" ( Report no. 2012 -0134 -DGO), the NOEC of the test item 3,3’,4,4’-Benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride (BTDA) is 320 mg /L. The test item is not toxic up to the concentration of 320 mg /L to activated sludge of a municipal sewage treatment plant. The EC50 of the test item is > 1000 mg/L. The EC10 of the test item is 418 mg/L with a confindence interval p= 95% of 375 mg/L to 460 mg/L.
