First-aid measures
IF INHALED:
Remove to fresh air. Obtain medical attention.
IN CASE OF SKIN CONTACT
Remove contaminated clothing and shoes. Wash off with warm water and soap. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
IN CASE OF EYE CONTACT
Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. If symptoms persist, call a physician.
IF SWALLOWED
Do NOT induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. Obtain medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
EXTINGUSING MEDIA
Suitable extinguishing media: Extinguishing media - large fires. Alcohol-resistant foam (on small fires). Carbon dioxide (CO2). Dry chemical.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water spray jet.
SPECIAL HAZARDS ARISING FROM THE SUBSTANCE OR MIXTURE
Specific hazards during fire fighting: Burning produces irritant fumes. Exposure to decomposition products may be a hazard to health.
ADVICE FOR FIREFIGHTERS
Special protective equipment for fire-fighters: In the event of fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus. Use personal protective equipment.
Further information: Prevent fire extinguishing water from contaminating surface water or the ground water system.
Accidental release measures
PERSONAL PRECAUTIONS, PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT AND EMERGENCY PROCEDURES
Personal precautions: Evacuate personnel to safe areas. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid breathing vapours, mist or gas.
ENVIRONMENTAL PRECAUTIONS
Environmental precautions: Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system. Do not allow contact with soil, surface or ground water.
METHODS AND MATERIALS FOR CONTAINMENT AND CLEANING UP
Methods for cleaning up:
Clean up methods - small spillage. Contain spillage, soak up with non-combustible absorbent material (e.g. sand, earth, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite) and transfer to a container for disposal according to local/national regulations.
Clean up methods - large spillage. Contain spillage, pick up with an electrically protected vacuum cleaner or by wet-brushing and transfer to a container for disposal according to local regulations.
Handling and storage
PRECAUTIONS FOR SAFE HANDLING
Advice on safe handling: Use plant protection products safely. Always read the label and product information before use. Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wear suitable protective equipment. Use only in well-ventilated areas. Keep container tightly closed.
CONDITIONS FOR SAFE STORAGE, INCLUDING ANY INCOMPATIBILITIES
Requirements for storage areas and containers: Keep in a dry, cool place.
Other data: Stable under recommended storage conditions.
