Key value for chemical safety assessment

Flash point at 101 325 Pa:
319 K

Additional information

In an approved closed cup guideline method conducted to GLP the flash point of isopropyl glycol ether at normal atmospheric pressure was 45 +/- 2 Celsius. As this value exceeds 23 Celsius and is <= 60 Celsius, isopropyl glycol ether is classified Flammable Category 3 in GHS. In EU Classification, the flashpoint exceeds 21 Celsius and is<= 55 and is therefore Classified R10, Flammable.

Other textbook values are available that confirm this measured value as typical.
