No studies investigating the adsorption/desorption behaviour of 2,2-dimethyl-1,3-propanediyl dioctanoate (CAS No. 31335-74-7) are available. Using KOCWIN Program (v2.00), log Koc values of 4.2 and 5.0 were calculated, based on molecular connectivity index (MCI) and on log Kow, respectively (Blum, 2011). Based on the calculated values, the substance has high adsorption potential to soil and sediment particles.
