Additional information

Three standard algal toxicity tests (Mattock 1995a and 1995b; Forbis, 1990) are available for three members of this category. The tests were conducted over 72 -96 hours using Selenastrum capricornutum. Due to the very low solubility of the test substances all the tests were conducted using Water Accommodated Fractions (WAF). All three studies report that no effects were seen at the highest concentration tested. In all three studies the NOELR is 1000mg/L WAF.
