Conclusion on classification

The substance has been tested with three trophic levels (fish, daphnia, algae) and the algae was found to be the most sensitive species with an EC50 (72h) of 0.186 mg/L. As the substance is not readily biodegradable it requires classification for Acute Aquatic Toxicity, Category 1 and Chronic Aquatic Toxicity, Category 1 according to CLP (Regulation EC No 1272/2008) and N, R50/53 according to DSD (Directive 67/548/EEC) respectively.
