In accordance with section 1 of REACH Annex XI, the flammability (contact with water and pyrophoric properties of solids and liquids) studies do not need to be conducted as experience in use and handling has shown that the substance does not possess these properties. Also, in accordance with section 1 of REACH Annex XI, the flammability (solids and gases) studies do not need to be conducted as the substance is a liquid.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance TOFA_TETA_PAA_BADGE_CGE_Adduct is non-reactive in water and non-pyrophoric. Being a liquid at ambient temperature it has been tested for flash point in a closed cup test and the flashpoint was found higher than 110 °C. Thus, the substance is considered non-flammable under EU criteria for classification and labelling (CLP Regulation No 1272/2008 and DSD Directive 67/548/EEC).
