Description of key information

The 96-h LC50 is >1000 mg/L in zebrafish.

The 24-h EC50 of test substance is >1000 mg/L in Daphnia magna.

The 72-h ErC50 and NOErC values in the freshwater algae Scenedesmus subspicatus are >100 mg/L and 100 mg/L, respectively.

The 3-h EC50 value is >100 mg/L as determined in a mixed culture of bacteria.

Additional information

Short-term toxicity tests are available for all three trophic levels (fish, invertebrates and algae). The 96-hour LC50 in zebrafish is >1000 mg/L, the 24-hour EC50 in Daphnia magna is >1000 mg/L, and the 72-hour ErC10 in algae is >100 mg/L. In an activated sludge respiration inhibition test a 3-hour IC50 value of >100 mg/L was observed.
