Any other information on results incl. tables

The particle size distribution of the 1st test series is shown in figure 1 (page 9) and of the 2nd test

series in figure 2 (page 10). For each test series fractions (left axis of the ordinate) and the sittings

(right axis of the ordinate) are presented in volume % as a function of the particle size.

The median particle size L50 (50 % of particle volume with lower particle diameter) deduced from

these distributions are:

1st test series: L50 = 8.139 µrn

2nd test series: L50 = 8.148 µrn

The average of the median particle size L50 was 8.1 µrn.

The particle size L10 (10 % of particle volume with lower particle diameter) deduced from these

distributions are:

1st test series: L10 = 1.948

2nd test series: L10 = 1.972 um

The average of the particle size Lto was 2.0 µm.

The particle size L90 (90 % of particle volume with lower particle diameter) deduced from these

distributions are:

1st test series: L90 = 31.404 µm

2nd test series: L90 = 31.692 µm

The average of the particle size L90 is Lgo = 31.5 µm

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The median particle size for ICBSK is 8.1 µm

Executive summary:

The following values were deduced from the particle size distribution of 4-lodo-2-

potassiumsulfonato-benzoic acid (AE F141158):

Particle size Remark
L10 2.0 µrn
L50 8.1 µm Median particle size
L90 31.5 µm
