Additional information

No experimental data evaluating the hydrolysis of Glycerides, palm-oil mono-, hydrogenated, acetates (CAS No. 93572-32-8) are available. However, according to Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, Annex VIII, column 2, 9.2.2.1, hydrolysis testing is not required since the substance is readily biodegradable. The results from the supporting QSAR calculations performed with the main fatty acid components (C16 mono/monoacetate and C18 mono-, HYDROWIN v2.00) indicate that indeed hydrolysis is not expected to be a relevant degradation pathway for this substance, with half-lives of 282 days (pH 7) and 28 days (pH 8)(López Parrón, 2011).
