Description of key information

No data on EDDHMA-Fe are available for birds, however for the structurally very similar EDDHA-FeNa some data are available confirming low toxicity.
The test substance EDDHA-FeNa has practically no acute toxicity to the "5-day old Peking duck" and to the adult Japanese quail and 10 day old pheasant by oral intubation or dietary administration. The "LD50 or LC50" of the test material is greater than 6000 mg/kg bw .
