 Acetic acid, oxo-, sodium salt, reaction products with ethylenediamine and cresol, iron sodium salts (EDDHMA-Fe) is not classified as hazardous or dangerous.

 EDDHMA-Fe consists of odourless, dark red-brown, microgranules.

 EDDHMA-Fe does not melt, but decomposes or reacts at temperatures above 373 K (100°C).

 The relative density of EDDHMA-FeNa is 1.64 The relative density of EDDHMA-FeK is 1.72

The partition coefficient (n-octanol/water) Pow of EDDHMA-FeNa was estimated via HPLC method to be 6.2x10E-2, as such log Pow is -1.2. The partition coefficient (log Pow) of EDDHMA-FeK is below -2 (estimated via shake-flask method).

The water solubility of EDDHMA-FeNa was estimated to be 116 g/L at 20 ± 0.5°C at pH 8.5.The water solubility of EDDHMA-FeK is 21.2 g/L at 20 ± 0.5°C at pH 6.6.

The solubility of EDDHMA-Fe in standard fat was found to be in the range from 0.13 to 0.63 mg/100 g at 30°C.

The surface tension of a solution of EDDHMA-FeNa in water at a concentration of approximately 1 g/L is 74.0 mN/m. The surface tension of a solution of EDDHMA-FeK in water at a concentration of 269 mg/L is 72.34 mN/m. EDDHMA-Fe is not a surface active substance.

EDDHMA-Fe has a selfignition temperature of 180°C.

 EDDHMA-Fe is not explosive,  non flammable and has no oxisiding properties.

 The stability and dissociation constants of EDDHMA-Fe are 34.4, 36.6 and 22.8.
