Additional information

PNEC were derived based on the alga study giving EC50 = 157.4 mg/L while fish and daphnia showed no effect up to the highest test concentration of 100 mg/L. PNEC sediment and soil derived based on equilibrium partitioning. PNEC oral was derived based on the low log Kow.

Conclusion on classification

Environmental classification of the substance was based on the high water solubility (soluble in each ratio), the low log Kow, the lowest acute toxic effect which was determined with alga (= 157.4 mg/L) and no ready or inherent biodegradation or hydrolysis.

In accordance with DSD/DPD Directive 67/548/EEC the substance is not classified.

In accordance with CLP Regulation EC No. 1272/2008 the substance is not classified.
